Volleyball Recap: Northeast Early College Takes a Loss

Northeast Early College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Lago Vista Vikings. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-7.

Northeast Early College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Lago Vista, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-21.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northeast Early College is set to take on their familiar foe LBJ Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lago Vista will square off against rival Eastside Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
