Baseball Game Preview: Sonora Broncos vs. Colorado Wolves

The Sonora Broncos will square off against the Colorado Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sonora has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 21.

On Tuesday, Sonora came up short against Miles and fell 8-3. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by exactly five runs.

Angel Diaz and Conner Gill stepped up to the plate in a big way. Diaz went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Gill went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That double was Diaz's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aaron Galvan, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Colorado lost 14-2 to Christoval on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Colorado saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Curtis Lindsey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Sonora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Colorado, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
