Central hadn't done well against Sunrise Mountain recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Central Bobcats claimed a resounding 86-48 victory over the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Sunrise Mountain's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Trey Hill, who posted ten points and five boards, and Henry Nally, who earned ten points. What's more, Nally also racked up four rebounds, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Daniel Sellards also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first boards of the season.

The win (which was Central's 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for Sunrise Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Central has already played their next matchup, an 81-48 victory against Carl Hayden Community on the 4th. As for Sunrise Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-55 win against Centennial on the 4th.
