Football Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Northeast's offense. They were outmatched by the Hallandale Chargers and fell 35-0. If the Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 30-6 to the Chargers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

K'Wan Love threw for 91 yards and one touchdown. Brandon Chavez was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Brenton Jackson rushed for 76 yards.

Rudy Pierrelouis was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 125 yards and one TD on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hallandale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Northeast and Hallandale will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Hurricanes see the field they'll take on South Plantation at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Hallandale, their break will end when they face Nova at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
