Canyon hadn't done well against Valencia recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cowboys walked away with a 3-1 win over the Vikings. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 1-0 win last Saturday.

Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-19.

Canyon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-17 record this season. As for Valencia, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
