Baseball Game Preview: Astronaut War Eagles vs. Viera Hawks

Astronaut hasn't had much luck against Viera recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The War Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Astronaut came up short against Mount Dora and fell 7-4.

Astronaut saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Stevens, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Viera couldn't beat St. Cloud on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Hawks and the Bulldogs finished up their matchup with a 4-4 draw.

With that tie, Viera's record moves to 0-1-1. As for Astronaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Astronaut suffered a grim 8-2 defeat to Viera in their previous matchup back in April of 2021. Can the War Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
