Chinle entered their tilt with Tuba City on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 37-24 win over the Tuba City Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 36-34 last Wednesday.

Chinle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Qoah Yazzie led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Yazzie has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Eleyah Pete, who posted six points.

Chinle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tuba City only pulled down six offensive rebounds.

Tuba City's loss came despite strong showings from Jana West and Eriana Begay. West scored four points and five boards, while Begay had seven points.

Chinle's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Tuba City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Chinle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-20 win against Miyamura on the 18th. Tuba City has also already played their next game, a 59-56 defeat against Ganado on the 24th.
