Soccer Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

If Triton was riding high fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Western Harnett last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks fell 2-0 to the Harnett Central Trojans on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked Triton's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Harnett Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Triton is set to face off against their familiar foe Lee County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Harnett Central will take on rival South Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
