After soaring to six goals the game before, Triton was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Harnett Central Trojans. While losing is never fun, Triton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 445th, while Harnett Central are ranked 210th).

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Harnett Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-2.

Triton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lee County on the 6th. As for Harnett Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against South Johnston on the 6th.
