Baseball Recap: North Rockland Raiders vs. Ketcham Storm
North Rockland dropped their record down to 12-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Ketcham Storm by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 on Tuesday.
Ryan Maltbie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits.

On the hitting side, North Rockland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Reyes, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Reyes is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Coming up, North Rockland will host Clarkstown South at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ketcham, they will venture away from home to challenge Putnam Valley at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Storm 3.1, the Tigers 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
