Perry County fell victim to Wayne County and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 28-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jacob Laman threw for 122 yards on seven of 15 attempts. Javon McFadden was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards.

Perry County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Wayne County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
