Baseball Recap: Hillhouse Comes Up Short

Hillhouse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-0 to the Hamden Green Dragons. The game marked the first time this year in which the Academics were not able to get on the board.

Hillhouse's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hamden, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillhouse will welcome Wilbur Cross at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Governors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Academics will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hamden, they will be playing at home against North Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
