Willow Canyon won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Friday too. Willow Canyon came out on top against Independence by a score of 2-0.

Rylan Hayes paced Willow Canyon's offense, picking up ten kills. Hayes got some help from Ben Perkins and his 27 assists. Hayes was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Willow Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Willow Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Northwest Christian on the 29th. As for Independence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tucson High Magnet School on the 29th.
