Shasta entered their tilt with Chico on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 7th.

Shasta not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Chico between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.

Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Chico, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shasta will host Orland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Chico, they will face off against Redding Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
