Basketball Recap: EF Academy Takes a Loss

EF Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 73-39 defeat at the hands of the Rio Hondo Prep Kares. EF Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.

Rio Hondo Prep can attribute much of their success to Josh Curtis, who went 5 of 6 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Burl, who posted six points along with eight boards and four steals.

EF Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Rio Hondo Prep, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-10.

EF Academy will square off against Rio Hondo Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Hondo Prep has already played their next game (against SEED: LA), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
