Baseball Recap: Bonneville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bonneville can now relate to. They came up short against the Viewmont Vikings on Saturday, falling 12-6. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Friday.

Bonneville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaygen Noble, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Daniel Zornes also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Bonneville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Viewmont, they pushed their record up to 18-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

While Bonneville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
