Basketball Recap: Landon Dobbs' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Henryville over Tecumseh

Henryville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 49-32 to the Tecumseh Braves. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Henryville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Dobbs, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Owens, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Henryville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Henryville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tecumseh, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henryville will take on Trinity Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Tecumseh, they will venture away from home to take on Southridge at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
