The Skyridge Falcons will head out to face off against the Orem Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Skyridge's tournament run continued when they took on Pahrump Valley on Saturday. Skyridge fell just short of Pahrump Valley by a score of 10-9.

Awtumn Lorenzo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Peyton Hall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Lorenzo wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Skyridge lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Orem fell victim to Salem Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 23-0 to the Skyhawks. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Skyridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Orem, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Skyridge took their win against Orem when the teams last played back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Skyridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will Orem turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
