Basketball Recap: Durand-Arkansaw Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Durand-Arkansaw won against Colfax last Friday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Durand-Arkansaw Panthers enjoyed a cozy 67-53 victory over the Stanley-Boyd Orioles. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Durand-Arkansaw pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Stanley-Boyd, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durand-Arkansaw will face off against Elk Mound at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Elk Mound has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Stanley-Boyd, they will square off against Fall Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
