Basketball Game Preview: Madison Mavericks vs. Reagan Rattlers

Madison is 0-10 against Reagan since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Madison Mavericks will be playing at home against the Reagan Rattlers at 7:30 p.m.

Madison is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 84-31 loss at the hands of Churchill. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 940th, while the Chargers are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Reagan had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 49-39 victory over SA Roosevelt on Tuesday.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Reagan, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 16-12.
