Palma extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 8-14-1 in the process. They never let the Alisal Trojans get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Chieftains not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 8-0).

The result came thanks to Sophia Cardinale's shutout, as she gave up just two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Palma let Analysia Rocha and Reese Amaral run wild. Rocha got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI, while Amaral went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was Amaral's first of the season.
