Softball Recap: Buckhorn Comes Up Short

Grissom hit Buckhorn with a six-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bucks lost 11-1 to the Tigers. The Bucks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Buckhorn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Buckhorn and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Grissom, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckhorn will welcome Ardmore at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grissom, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hamilton at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
