Volleyball Recap: Knox Falls Despite Big Games from Da'miya Sherrod and Addison Sponaugle

Knox lost against South Central back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redskins fell just short of the Satellites by a score of 3-2.

Knox actually scored more points across those five sets (93-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 16-25, 11-25, 15-7.

Despite the defeat, Knox had strong showings from Addison Sponaugle, who had 20 digs and two aces, and Da'Miya Sherrod, who had 13 digs and three aces.

Knox's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for South Central, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Knox will challenge Kouts at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Central, they will square off against Boone Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Satellites their first taste of in-conference action this season.
