            Volleyball Recap: Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars vs. Concord Spiders        
        
		
        
        
            
Central Academy of Technology & Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Concord Spiders. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spiders apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Central Academy of Technology & Arts took Concord into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 18-25, 17-25,  15-12.
 Milana Noskov paced Central Academy of Technology & Arts' offense, picking up seven kills. Noskov got some help from  Fiona Mollica and her 21 assists.  Rayley Wells and  Brooke DeBlasio kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.
  Riley Porter went supernova For Concord.,  getting 38  digs and seven  aces. Porter is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Layla Kim, who  had 12  digs and one  assist.
Central Academy of Technology & Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Concord, their record is now 8-5.
 Central Academy of Technology & Arts has  already played their next  match (against Monroe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Concord, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  loss against Carson on the 16th.
