Soccer Game Preview: American vs. Jackson

The American Patriots will square off against the Jackson Generals at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on American, who comes in off a win.

American's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They beat Westland Hialeah by a goal, winning 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for American.

Meanwhile, Jackson opened the new year with a less-than-successful 5-3 loss to Braddock.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for American, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-2.

American suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Jackson when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
