Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Highlands

The Jefferson Mustangs will take on the Highlands Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jefferson is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Edison just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Golden Bears.

Meanwhile, Highlands entered their tilt with Lanier on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Voks a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Highlands, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-3. As for Highlands, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8-2.
