            Volleyball Recap: Concord Bears vs. Berean Christian Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Concord lost against Berean Christian back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Concord Bears fell  3-1 to the Berean Christian Eagles. The Bears' loss continues a  trend for the  team, making it six in a row dating back to last season.
 Concord started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-21,  25-22.
 Jumaiya Tabayoyong paced Concord's offense, picking up 18 kills. Tabayoyong got some help from  Levi Serrano and his 37 assists. Serrano also made an impact serving:  he shared the team lead in aces with  Scott Bliss, racking up five apiece.
Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Berean Christian,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-1.
 Concord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Ygnacio Valley on the 6th. As for Berean Christian, they have also  already played their next contest,  a  3-1  loss against Alhambra on the 6th.
