Baseball Recap: Bloom-Carroll Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Bloom-Carroll entered their tilt with Highland on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fighting Scots a 4-0 shutout. Bloom-Carroll's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
