The Lincoln Railsplitters will head out on the road to take on the Chelsea Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.6 points per game this season.

Lincoln will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Jackson, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Railsplitters secured a 36-32 W over the Vikings on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Railsplitters.

The critical scores for Lincoln came from Carson Greene and Greg Myers.

Lincoln was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 226 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chelsea). They breezed past Pinckney to the tune of 44-6 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Lincoln's record is now 6-1. As for Chelsea, their record now sits at an identical 6-1.

Lincoln was taken down by Chelsea 37-7 in their previous meeting back in September of 2020. Can the Railsplitters avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
