Baseball Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Ripon was the 6-5 winner over Adams-Friendship when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 5-1 to the Green Devils on Thursday. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ripon got a good showing from Odin Huber, who kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Huber a new career-low in hits (zero).

On the hitting side, Shay Otto made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Ripon dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Adams-Friendship, their record now sits at 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ripon will welcome St. Mary's Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Adams-Friendship, they will host Poynette at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
