Volleyball Preview: Baldwinsville Bees vs. Liverpool Warriors
After both having extra time off, the Baldwinsville Bees and the Liverpool Warriors will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Baldwinsville beat Fayetteville-Manlius 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 18-25, 25-12.
Baldwinsville had a senior duo take command as Amelia Hahn had 21 kills, nine digs, and two aces and Madison Mackaig had 18 digs and 31 assists. Those 31 assists set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Garcia, who had 15 digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, Liverpool took care of business in their home opener two weeks ago (and then some). They blew past Marcellus 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-21.
The win got Baldwinsville back to even at 2-2-1. As for Liverpool, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
