Volleyball Game Preview: Silver Lake Regional Lakers vs. Taunton Tigers

The Silver Lake Regional Lakers will square off against the Taunton Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Silver Lake Regional has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 2.

Silver Lake Regional came up short against Brockton on Monday, falling 3-0.

Taunton hadn't beaten Durfee on the road since May 24, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Taunton's got stronger as the match went on, holding Durfee to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-12.

Silver Lake Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Taunton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
