Nunamiut came tearing into  Thursday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   56-46  victory over Non Varsity Opponent. For the Amaguq, this counts as revenge for the   56-43 win Non Varsity Opponent walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in February of 2024.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nunamiut to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kevin Gordon, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and ten  steals. Gordon is  crushing it when it comes to  steals: he's   grabbed at least two every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Tyler Hugo, who  dropped  a double-double on 14  points and 17  rebounds.
Nunamiut's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-2.
 Nunamiut won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Minto  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Nunamiut knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Minto likes a good challenge. Non Varsity Opponent has already played their next contest,  a  107-69  defeat against Life Christian Academy on the 23rd.
