Murray had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. Everything went their way against the East Leopards as they made off with a 12-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 last Wednesday.

Savana Whitlock was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.5 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Zaylee Winterhalder was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Brooklyn Rowley was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Murray always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They are 14-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Murray's record now sits at 15-4. As for East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Murray wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Judge Memorial Catholic on the 23rd. As for East, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-7 victory against Park City on the 21st.
