While Huffman's victory against Bessemer City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Tigers 57-55. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Huffman found their leader in sophomore Amarius Robinson, who went 6-for-9 en route to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Hill, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 11 points.

Huffman's record is now 8-6. As for Bessemer City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Huffman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bessemer City and Carver Birmingham will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
