Basketball Recap: Royal Live Oaks Academy Takes a Loss

Royal Live Oaks Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a hard 54-35 fall against Ridgeland. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royal Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-32 back in January.

Jabien Harris had an outrageously good game for Ridgeland as he posted 35 points. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in points.

Royal Live Oaks Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ridgeland, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13.

Royal Live Oaks Academy will welcome Denmark-Olar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgeland, they will face off against Bamberg-Ehrhardt at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
