Basketball Game Preview: Rockford East E-Rabs vs. Hononegah Indians

Rockford East hasn't had much luck against Hononegah recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rockford East E-Rabs will take on the Hononegah Indians at 7:15 p.m.

Rockford East is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. They came up short against Belvidere North, falling 57-34.

Meanwhile, Hononegah entered their tilt with Jefferson on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They breezed by the J-Hawks to the tune of 68-32. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Hononegah, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Rockford East was dealt a bruising 75-29 loss at the hands of Hononegah in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Rockford East was down 41-17.
