Lynden put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Anacortes Seahawks 72-23. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Seahawks are ranked 108th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lynden's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Anacortes, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynden will host Nooksack Valley at 5:40 p.m. on Friday.
