Basketball Recap: Oxford Takes a Loss

Oxford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 79-51 defeat at the hands of the Kennett Blue Demons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hornets have suffered since February 10, 2024.

Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Kennett, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Sun Valley the next time they take the court. Kennett will head out to face Sun Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Oxford will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
