Franklin Central came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Martinsville Artesians. That's more bragging rights for the Flashes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Franklin Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cicily Borders, who had seven digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Katie Bailey, who had ten digs and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: Franklin Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive games.

Franklin Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Martinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Franklin Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Columbus North on the 23rd. As for Martinsville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Greensburg on the 23rd.
