Volleyball Recap: Nordonia's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Nordonia extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 4-0. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted against the Bees since October 12, 2021.

Nordonia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Victoria Intas, who had 30 digs and two aces. Those 30 digs gave Intas a new career-high. Avery Palinkas was another key player, getting 37 assists and seven digs.

They weren't the only good server: Nordonia was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2. Bees fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Nordonia since Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Brecksville-Broadview Heights still got an impressive performance from Charlotte Hocutt, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Nordonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Solon on the 28th. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against North Royalton on the 28th.
