Soccer Game Preview: Aspire Ollin vs. Orthopaedic

Aspire Ollin has won three straight games at home, while Orthopaedic has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Aspire Ollin Jaguars will welcome the Orthopaedic Vipers at 2:00 p.m. Aspire Ollin knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Orthopaedic likes a good challenge.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Jaguars on Friday. Aspire Ollin was the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over Central City Value. The result was nothing new for Aspire Ollin, who have now won 12 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Central City Value from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Katelyn Sanchez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for six goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Orthopaedic's offense. They fell just short of Animo Bunche by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Aspire Ollin is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 70 goals over those nine matches. As for Orthopaedic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Aspire Ollin took their victory against Orthopaedic in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-0. Will Aspire Ollin repeat their success, or does Orthopaedic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
