Baseball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Whitewater's offense. They came up short against the Delavan-Darien Comets on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Whippets haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Delavan-Darien, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.

Whitewater wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-5 win against Parkview on the 25th. As for Delavan-Darien, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Jefferson on the 29th.
