Football Game Preview: Highland Park Owls vs. North Plainfield Canucks

The Highland Park Owls will face off against the North Plainfield Canucks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Plainfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Highland Park, who comes in off a win.

Highland Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against South River on Saturday as they made off with a 40-18 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Owls as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, North Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost to Metuchen on the road by a 24-7 margin.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for North Plainfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
