Softball Recap: Hazlehurst Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hazlehurst can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Wesson Cobras on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Cobras: they've now lost six in a row.

Hazlehurst's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Wesson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season.

Hazlehurst does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wesson, they will square off against West Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cobras surely won't give up without a fight.
