Recap: Cane Bay Cobras vs. Berkeley Stags
The Cane Bay Cobras waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Berkeley and snuck past 59-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Isaac Smalls, who scored 30 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Curtrell Dixon, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Cane Bay is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Berkeley, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8.
Cane Bay will be playing at home against Goose Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cane Bay is coming into the contest with six straight victories at home, meaning Goose Creek will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Berkeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
