Huron is 8-2 against Rapid City Central since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Huron Tigers are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Rapid City Central Cobblers at 7:30 p.m. Rapid City Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Huron, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Huron challenged Brookings on Tuesday. Huron secured a 65-60 W over Brookings.

Meanwhile, Rapid City Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 62-56 to Pierre T.F. Riggs. The Cobblers haven't had much luck with the Governors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Rapid City Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Huron, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Huron took their victory against Rapid City Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 53-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Huron since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
