Seaman is 7-2 against Lansing since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Seaman didn't have quite enough to beat Shawnee Heights and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Seaman have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Savannah Nelson, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lansing challenged De Soto on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for Lansing in their meetings with De Soto: they've now lost eight in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for Seaman and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Lansing, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

Everything went Seaman's way against Lansing in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Seaman made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
