Jase Ostblom leads a balanced attack to beat Raymond Central

The Louisville Lions had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 win over Raymond Central on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Louisville has posted yet this season.

Louisville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jase Ostblom, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Wade Powles, who scored 11 points.

Raymond Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dawson Potter, who scored 16 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Potter has scored all season. Colton Dubas was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals and two blocks.

Even though they lost, Raymond Central were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Louisville's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Raymond Central, they bumped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Louisville will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Yutan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
