After a string of five wins, LaBelle's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 48-29 to the Okeechobee Brahmans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys/Cowgirls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-27 back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, LaBelle had strong showings from Giovanni Beaver, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points, and Arrie Davis Jr., who posted four points and three steals. Beaver is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Okeechobee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Channing Delagall, who had nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Chaynaya'Ah Phillips, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

LaBelle's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Okeechobee, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-8.

LaBelle will venture away from home to square off against Babcock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okeechobee, they will welcome Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
